ABOUT THE BIRTHSHOP - by Elena
First of all, it is not only for pregnant women, it is for anyone who was born into less than desirable circumstances and would like to change that
The way we were born defines the quality of our experience of being in the body through our entire life, as shown in the 25 years of research in the field of prenatal psychology. How we access and use our creative energies is a reflection of our emotional landscape during our early formative period. Unfortunately, the great majority of people on our planet were born in suffering, thus limbically imprinted to struggle.
There are many ways to recovering our sense of wellbeing, which were lost from the start for most of us. I am offering one of them in my birthshops. One word to describe it would be POWER PLAY. Another - MAGIC... :)
My Class is designed to allow the participants to heal their own birth trauma through having an actual in-the-body experience of being conceived, gestated and born *in love and ecstasy*.
It is achieved through a sequence of processes that bring a group into a slightly altered state of mind - a shift that allows people to access that parallel reality, the void, from which we arrive here, on Earth in the first place. There was a time, remember? - when we were not!... and then all of a sudden, - there we were! It turns out, it's not very difficult to go back and create a brand new Limbic Imprint (prenatal psychology gave this name to the orignal "programming" that our nervous system receives at birth).
And from that place, while in a slightly elevated state, we can make lots of conscious decisions about the way we want to experience being born into the welcoming safety and loving nurture.
It is done through a progressive series of exercises, a brilliant mix of new science and specific breathing techniques, guided imagery, role playing, specific movement, melting down frozen belief systems,- interactive mess! - designed to clear the pathways for the creative flow.
The second day of the birthshop will be about harmonizing the cortex with the reptilian and the limbic systems of the brain in order to establish a new habit of living from the place of alignment, so we can be all we intended to be. There will be exercises and talking about the correlation between specific characteristics of birth traumas and behavioral; patterns in the adult individual, which were responsible for the blocked creativity in the first place.
*What started for me in 1982 in Russia as work in Conscious Birth Movement and a search for ways of eliminating birth trauma for the babies, grew into a deep and beautiful healing experience for me personally. I'd love to share with you what I have learned.*
