With so many wonderful short movies around to watch, MC Movie Nights will this month host its first 'Movie Collage' Movie Night. The movies included for this month are:

The History of Giving Birth: a wonderful journey through time and across the world, looking at the way birth has changed down the ages, and at the constants that have remained unchanged. It also draws attention to the study of posture and the recurring features of the classical supportive poses.

Giving Birth: an eye opening documentary looking at the challenges and choices of having a baby in today's climate. The film focuses on the natural flow of birth and the sometimes unfortunate influence interference with this process can have. The movie addresses many statistics to consider when making your choices in birth, and includes expert insight and advice from Christiane Northrup MD/OB, Don Creevy MD/OB and Suzanne Arms.

Birth In Water: some beautiful footage of seven empowering water births filmed at water birth centres in Guatemala, showing how babies can be brought into the world with gentleness, awareness and wisdom. Jennifer Gallardo shares her experiences of birth in water and dispels many of the fears and misconceptions that still surround its practice.
