The venue spills luxury and indulgence and was well received by pregnant women and professionals alike. It gave you the idea that this truly was a special night and one to remember.
Prior to the screening we had Dr Sarah J Buckley and Rhea Dempsey give a small introduction about the movie and the differences/similarities to our Australian Birth culture.
After the movie, Sarah and Rhea opened the floor for further discussion and some very interesting comments were made and questions were raised.
Out in the grand foyer area, while everyone was still buzzing, we offered a fitting supper while the small Jazz band played in the corner. The atmosphere was great with lots of stories shared, many DVDs sold (x65) and choices were questioned.
Sarah also offered a signing of her book 'Gentle Birth, Gentle Mothering' and we had a resource table that was well researched and received.
